About the Couple
On August 2, 1975, Jim and Lynn exchanged vows, beginning a lifelong journey of love and partnership. On November 9, 1979, they attended their first UME weekend in Iowa-Illinois, which deepened their understanding of each other and enhanced their communication skills. This retreat allowed them to discuss their feelings and challenges, reinforcing their bond and commitment. They returned home with a renewed sense of purpose for their relationship.
Over the years, they have supported UME weekends by assisting with setup and teardown, serving as prayer couples, inviting others to participate, and engaging in community events while consistently attending Core.
