About the Couple
Ron and Helen Teel were first encountered in 1987 in the Heart of Illinois Community, a community of which they are founding members. They received the Ham & Eggs Award in 1999. $705 in total tributes have been given in memory of them. Ron passed away in 2018 and Helen in 2023.

Helen P. Teel, 88, of Harrisonburg, VA, formerly of Brimfield, passed away at 1:50 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at Virginia Mennonite Retirement Community (VMRC) in Harrisonburg, VA, surrounded by the love of her family and friends.
She was born on June 25, 1934, in Poplar Bluff, MO, to Paul and Grace (Bramlett) Powers. She married Ronald Teel on March 2, 1974, in Galesburg. He preceded her in death on August 24, 2018.
