About the Couple
Our UME journey began when we attended our Marriage Encounter Weekend in 2003. It was a turning point in our marriage, helping us to communicate more openly, appreciate each other more deeply, and grow closer to God as a couple. We experienced God’s love and healing in a very personal way, and our marriage was transformed.
Out of gratitude for what God had done in our lives, we felt called to serve in the ministry. Over the years, we have been privileged to serve in various roles, including Coordinator Couple, Nurture Couple, Host Couple, and in other support ministries, walking alongside couples and serving wherever there was a need.
In 2012, we responded to God’s call to become a Presenting Team Couple. Since then, we have had the joy of serving at the first UME Weekend 2012 in Australia and first UME Weekend in Singapore, Hong Kong Weekend and Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur). Every weekend has been a humbling reminder that it is God who transforms hearts and restores marriages, and we are simply honoured to be His instruments.
Looking back over the years, we are deeply thankful for God’s faithfulness. UME has not only strengthened our own marriage but has also given us the privilege of witnessing countless couples experience renewed hope, healing, forgiveness, and deeper intimacy with God and with one another.
Our prayer is that God will continue to use us wherever He leads, so that more couples may experience the same love, grace, and transformation that we have received through this ministry. To God be all the glory.
