About the Couple
Mike and Tracey attended the only Weekend UME had in 2020. Remember that year. COVID? They rode with Bill and Lori Jarrett to the Weekend and back. Then the world shut down, and Pam and I met Tracey on Zoom. Yes, they joined our Zoom Core. Tracey was battling cancer from the first day we met her until her final day on earth. We saw her experience: bad days, good days, remission, new drugs with new hope, new side effects from the new drugs, loss of sight, painful treatments, and hopeless days. But I always heard her praise our God, make the most of the day she could, and finish well. What a blessing it was to know her, to call her a friend, and to witness what a true follower of Jesus does when given a bad hand in life. And did I tell you Mike, her husband, remained the caregiver of all caregivers through it all, too. That's courage.
