About the Couple
Roy and Marilyn happily were married in November, 13th 1978.
They had their exciting first United Marriage Encounter in 1982 in Rochester, NY. During their fun UME journey, they loved being a Team Couple from 1989 to March 1986 and they also served as energetic Assistant Regional Team Coordinators which lead them to win the Ham & Eggs Award in 1997.
Roy (2003) & Marilyn (2005) passed away.
In their honor, a heartfelt total of $1,136 in tributes has been given.

Team Couple
Words from Kurt Nutter's son regarding his parents' involvement with UME Weekends.
I remember how happy Mom and Dad were every time they attended UME Weekend. Despite being shy, they overcame that to teach at these weekends, and I remember them leaving, and I had to take care of the farm during those times.
My parents are in a better place, and if my wife hadn't passed away, I would have attended an Encounter Weekend. My mom and dad are true examples of what a marriage should be.
Thank you for honoring my parents; they were truly people who loved each other, God, family, and friends, likely in that order.
