About the Couple

For them, being part of the Australia UME Weekend in 2013 was an enrichment for their marriage; it provided them with valuable skills and a supportive community.

Hock and Siew have been part of United Marriage Encounter from 2013 to the present. They also joined the leadership team immediately, assisting the committee in various loving tasks.
In recent years, they took over the role as Registration Couple. They are meticulous in handling the registrations of couples and always follows up with emails and phone calls. They have been excellent in inviting and convincing couples who are hesitant to attend the weekend.
During the Weekends, they are also amazing in hosting our overseas Team Couples, picking them up from airport and looking after them before and after the weekends.
They became team couple for 2 years in 2016 & 2017. In 2022, Hock became the Public Officer for UME Australia, registered as a non-profit organisation. In 2023, he also took over as Secretary for our local committee.

Throughout these years, they have served as a valuable couple in various roles within our community. Their leadership and insights have been an inspiration to many.

Their story is a testament to the positive effects of engaging in programs aimed at enhancing marital relationships.
