About the Couple
Carol Hoover Gordon passed peacefully on July 6, 2021. She and her beloved husband Ken, who had been married nearly 40 years, helped mentor couples through United Marriage Encounter for 6 years. Carol exuded empathy and compassion for everyone she met, and she especially had a heart for married couples and for mentoring them through whatever challenges marriage brought their way.

Mentoring Couple
We (Maryland Area Community) were praying for a Core Couple in the York, PA area, and Adams suggested we touch base with the Gordons. Kevin and I called them to ask them to pray about their involvement in the endeavor. Their response was that they had been praying for YEARS for this to happen! They stepped right into this position and God blessed the York Community with a kind, caring couple to bring them together on a regular basis. We as a community are thankful Carol was a believer and know she is singing His praises in Heaven. She will be missed!
