About the Couple

Domenika and Ari Bryant/Almqvist, married since December 2005, are a couple whose love story blossomed from faith, friendship, and shared values. They first crossed paths in a church and Bible study group, where their bond deepened after both went through the challenges of divorce in their previous marriages. Their relationship took an exciting turn during a friendly squash game with friends, which ultimately led to their first date in Stuttgart, Germany—a night that marked the beginning of their life together.

Ari, now a retired Group Vice President, continues to lend his expertise to businesses as a consultant. Domenika, formerly a financial advisor at a local bank in Germany, has since focused on managing their home business after moving to the U.S. in 2013. Now, in their semi-retirement, they dedicate much of their time to volunteering, education, and fitness

Their faith is the guiding force in their marriage and community involvement. As active members of their local church, they serve in hospitality roles, welcoming new visitors and creating a warm environment for all. Ari and Domenika are also deeply passionate about their work with United Marriage Encounter (UME), where they volunteer to strengthen marriages. They believe that a strong Christian marriage, grounded in biblical principles, is not just the cornerstone of a thriving family but the bedrock of a healthy nation.

Their favorite Bible verse, Genesis 2:24, serves as a reminder of their commitment: “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.” To them, marriage is a spiritual, emotional, and physical union—one they strive to protect and strengthen, both in their own lives and in the lives of others.
