About the Couple
Jim and Becky Buckman were married June 19, 1971. The were first encountered at WWME in 1978 in South Carolina. They received the Ham & Eggs Award in 2011. Their UME status is "retired." $1,320 in total tributes have been given in their honor. Jim and Becky were jointly responsible along with Bob and Cheryl Ruska for starting Okinawa UME. Jim passed away in 2007.

James Floyd Buckman -SUMMERVILLE, SC - Entered into eternal rest on June 16, 2007, James Floyd Buckman, husband of Carolyn Williams Buckman.
He was an Electronics Technician, USAF (Ret.), President of the Methodist Men, Sunday School Teacher, co-Chair of Evangelism, co-Chair United Marriage Encounter, co-founder United Marriage Encounter, Okinawa, Japan, member the National Board of the Marriage Encounter Muscatine, Iowa, and Civil Servant at Robins Air Force Base, in Georgia for 15 years.
